Ken's Comments

Ramah, New Mexico

Ramah is an interesting little community. It was established in 1876, under the direction of Brigham Young, by Mormon pioneers. The town was originally settled for the purpose of missionary work to be carried out within the Zuni and Navajo communities.

Ramah lies between the Zuni Indian Reservation, the Ramah Navajo Indian Reservation, and the Cibola National Forest. The Wild Spirit Wolf SanctuaryEl Morro National Monument, and El Malpais National Monument are all located near the Ramah area.

There is also a little museum in the town as well.
