Interesting Events - 2019-2024

Susan and I made our first out-of-town trip to Taos January, 10-12. We went to the Harwood Museum of Art where we saw the Luchita Hurtado: Earth & Sky Interjected and the Nicholas Herrera: El Rito Santero exhibits. We also went to the Couse-Sharp Historic Site where we saw the Vecinos y Amigos: Bert Geer Phillips and His Neighbors exhibit. We stayed at the El Pueblo Lodge and enjoyed our New Mexican meal at Orlando's New Mexican Cafe.

On February 16 we went to the Museum of International Folk Art to see the exhibit on "Telephone Wire Art From South Africa." All done with insulated wire!!

Susan and I went to San Francisco and Berkeley to see her sister Marcy and husband Jim for a week on February 24. We went to see the Presidio Tunnel Top Park with her friend Margaret in San Francisco on Wednesday. On Thursday we went to the Paul McCartney Photographs 1963-64 Eyes of the Storm exhibit at the de Young Museum with Marcy and Jim.

On April 27th we went to the Los Alamos Kite Festival at Whiterock Park. It was really windy, but the kite flyers didn't seem to mind.
