She married William Lee Wilson 29 June 1913 in 29 June 1913, Aransas Co., TX, son of Joseph Wilson and Millie Unknown. He was born 08 October 1882 in Troy, Bell Co., TX, and died 04 November 1965 in UTMB Hospital, Galveston, Galveston Co., TX. Burial: 05 November 1965, Santa Fe (Alta Loma) Cemetery, Galveston Co., TX.

"Willie Lee Wilson was born October 8, 1882. When he was just a young boy, his first job was on a snapper boat out of Galveston, Texas. They made a trip and came in and settled up. He had enough money to buy a pair of shoes, a suit and gave his mama $30.00. When he was 19 years old he was a chief engineer on the government dredge that dredged out the first intercoastal canal.

He met and married Hattie Vernon Davis of Fulton, Texas on June 29, 1913. Hattie's father was Andrew Jackson Davis and her mother was Sarah Jane Newman. Children born to the couple were; Julie, Ethel Ella, Fannie Catherine, Jefferson Davis, Emma, Dora Lee, Hattie Vernon, and Arthur Lee Davis of Fulton, Texas. Willie and Hattie had four children: Alta Irene, Willie Louise, David Lee, and Dennis Andrew Wilson. Jack the oldest son died when he was 6 years old.

Willie ran an ice plant in Rockport, Texas for a while. He worked for the Quintana Sulphur plant near Freeport for a while then moved to Alto Loma, Texas where he lived and worked in an ice plant for 30 years. After his wife passed away he lived at Rockport, Texas and ran a bait stand there for many years. [Bill's Bait Barge was moored in Rockport Harbor where he sold bait and stayed in the rear of the barge where he had a table, bed and a chair. My grandma, grandpa and parents and I used to visit him there when we were in Rockport - Ken Bower]. Willie and Dennis fished in Copano Bay and San Antonio Bay and shrimped in Port O'Connor for several years for Louise Sharp's fish house.

Dennis Andrew Wilson spent four years in the Navy and was at a dance in Port O'Connor when he met Dorothy Geraldine Williams. They married December 24, 1945. Two sons were born to the couple. Dennis Andrew Wilson Jr. and Leslie Gerald Wilson. Dennis Jr. spent two years in the army. He was a radio operator on a mountain top in Germany. Leslie was in Vietnam and was a helicopter mechanic.

Leslie married Silvia Diane Sanders September 10, 1976. They have children; Ramona Bella, Sarah Jean, Goldie Bell, Leslie David, and Santana Rowe. Leslie and Diane bought a big two story house and moved it to Seadrift from Victoria, Texas. It was in Indianola, Texas before it was moved to Victoria. It was built with square nails.

Dennis Wilson, Sr., Dennis Jr. and Leslie all make their living as commercial shrimpers."
