He died 11 March 1925 in Fulton, Aransas County Texas and is buried in Rockport Cemetery. In April 1872 he married Kathreine Elizabeth Bell (sometimes Beall) in Matagorda County, Texas. She was born 12 April 1854 in Matagorda County, Texas. She died 12 July 1943 in Fulton, Aransas County, Texas and is buried beside her husband. After the death of her husband she married James "Jim" Vanderpool.

In the U.S. Census of 1880 for Aransas County, Texas the father of George Frederick Alugusta Weber, Sr. is given as born in Prussia and his mother was born in Austria. In this same census the father of Katherine Elizabeth Bell Weber is given as born in Alabama as is her mother.
