We did no travelling in September. Susan began the docent training for the New Mexico Museum of Art two days a week and I continued my docent duties at the New Mexico History Museum. We both spent time in the Santa Fe Botanical Garden as docents.
October began with changes in the house and in the perennial garden. I decided to no longer capture water off the roof for the veggie garden, so I gave away two of the large water barrels on the side of the house. We also had our house re-stuccoed and I decided to do the horno as well. All of the plants around both the house and the back and side walls were trimmed as never before.
On the 8th Susan and I went to the Abuquiu Studio Art Tour. It was a beautiful day, but there were not as many people there as in the past before Covid. It was however, better attended than in the last couple of years. We had lunch at the Abiquiu Inn and went into several art studios.
Susan and I made another trip to Berkeley to visit her sister Marcy during the first week of the month. On the 8th I got up early to take a photo of the lunar eclipse, but unfortunately it was too cloudy to get a good shot later on.
Susan and I both met Pru Leith of "The Great British Baking Show" while we were at our respective museums on the 10th. Me at the NM History Museum and Susan at the NM Musuem of Art. She and her husband, John were visiting Santa Fe for the day. (What a smile!)
We had our first big snow on November 13-14.
We had a Thanksgiving pizza party at our neighbors Paul and Christine's house. Neighbors Mike and Dan were there too.
